University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a part-time temporary House Manager for PlayMakers Repertory. The role involves managing audience services, box office tasks, and front-of-house operations across performances from Wednesday through Sunday.

You will supervise staff, ensure safety protocols, and handle ticketing and cash deposits. The position offers 20 hours per week, a start date of 11/02/2026, and an estimated duration of 6 months or longer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of related office experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience in customer service and cash handling is preferred.
• Familiarity with Tessitura or similar ticketing software is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and maintain facilities inside and outside the theater before, during, and after performances.
• Manage and supervise work‑study students and volunteers.
• Provide customer service to audience members during performances.
• Sell single tickets and subscriptions using Tessitura ticketing software.
• Reconcile daily cash receipts and perform daily deposits with the University Cashier.
• Prepare box office and front of house reports as needed.
