Job summary

Grand Circle Corporation seeks Program Directors (Tour Directors) to lead escorted tours with a focus on authentic experiences for travelers aged 50+. You will guide groups across destinations like Halifax, Quebec City, Montreal, and more, delivering rich context and ensuring safety and enjoyment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of tour guiding, strong leadership and teamwork skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience guiding tours in the listed destinations.
• Passion for destinations, people, culture and traditions.
• Ability to connect travelers with locals beyond typical tours.
• Knowledge of destination history, daily life, nature and culture.
• Flexibility, teamwork and leadership skills.
• Ability to make quick decisions for last‑minute changes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the program's quality and deliver an unforgettable experience.
• Deliver all information about destinations, programs and schedules.
• Understand travelers' expectations and focus on enjoyment.
• Reconfirm every service and coordinate with GCT Office.
• Represent GCT with cordial and formal relationships.
• Listen to feedback, take notes, and communicate with the office.
