Job summary

Grand Circle Corporation is seeking experienced Program Directors (Tour Directors) to guide escorted tours for Americans aged 50+. You will manage the overall quality and deliver a memorable travel experience across destinations such as Halifax, Baddeck, Charlottetown, Saint John, Quebec City, Montreal, and John’s.

The role requires 3–5 years of tour guiding, deep knowledge of the destinations, and the ability to connect travelers with locals while leading a team in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of tour guiding experience in the listed destinations.
• Passion for the destinations, their people, culture and traditions.
• Ability to connect travelers with locals beyond tourist spots.
• Knowledge of destination history, daily life, nature and culture.
• Flexibility, teamwork and leadership skills.
• Ability to make quick decisions to address last-minute changes.

• In charge of the program's overall quality and delivering an unforgettable experience for travelers.
• Deliver all information about the destination/program/schedule.
• Understand travelers' expectations and focus on their enjoyment of the trip.
• Reconfirms every service with the team.
• Represent Grand Circle Travel to maintain cordial, formal relationships with our partners and guests.
• Listen to travelers' feedback, take notes, and communicate with the Grand Circle Office.

Grand Circle is looking for Program Directors (Tour Directors) who are willing to take risks and challenge themselves to provide travelers with unforgettable experiences on our escorted tours:

• Destinations: Halifax, Baddeck, Charlottetown, Saint John, Quebec City, Montreal, John’s

What We Require:

• 3 to 5 Years of experience guiding tours in the above
• Passion for the destinations, their people, culture, and traditions
• Go beyond the touristy destination to connect your travelers with the locals
• Knowledge (History, Everyday Life, Nature, Culture) of the destinations
• Flexibility, teamwork, and leadership skills
• Ability to make quick decisions to address last-minute changes
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel

Working Responsibilities:

• In charge of the program's overall quality and delivering an unforgettable experience for travelers.

What We Offer:

• Salary: $220 USD daily rate (with up to 20% increase after 3 years) based on performance
• Gratuity: $7- $10 /person/day (average group size: 35 )
• Incentive: Up to an additional 40% of your base salary upon achieving Excellence goals
