Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Total Rewards professional to oversee executive compensation, benefits, and related programs. You will lead benchmarking, market analyses, and governance, partnering with Finance, Legal, Stock Administration, and HR teams to design and evaluate compensation plans.

Strong modeling and confidential data handling are essential. The role involves creating financial models, preparing reports for senior leadership and the Compensation Committee, and staying current with regulatory

Qualifications

• 4+ years of compensation experience.
• Experience with compensation surveys, reviewing proxy data, and market benchmarking.
• Understanding of public company executive compensation practices, governance, and disclosure requirements.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage highly confidential information with discretion.
• Experience with Workday, and compensation databases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct executive compensation benchmarking and market analyses using survey and proxy data to evaluate executive pay competitiveness.
• Analyze executive compensation programs, including base salary, annual incentives, long-term incentives, and total direct compensation.
• Support the design, administration, and evaluation of executive compensation and incentive programs.
• Develop executive compensation recommendations and financial models to support pay decisions and program changes.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Stock Administration, and HR teams on executive compensation initiatives.
• Support annual executive compensation planning processes, including salary reviews, incentive planning, and equity award cycles.
• Prepare analyses, reports, and presentation materials for senior leadership, the Compensation Committee, and Board of Directors.
• Assist with peer group development, compensation governance reviews, and pay-for-performance analyses.
• Support the preparation of executive compensation disclosures, including proxy statement and regulatory filing requirements.
• Perform realized and realizable pay analyses, CEO pay ratio calculations, and other executive compensation reporting.
• Monitor executive compensation market trends, governance developments, and proxy advisor guidance (ISS and Glass Lewis).
• Analyze equity compensation programs, including annual grants, retention awards, dilution, burn rate, and share usage metrics.
• Create dashboards and reporting to provide insights on executive compensation practices, trends, and outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve executive compensation processes and analytics.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and ensure accurate administration of executive compensation programs.
