Job summary

Premier Health seeks a strategic Leader for Total Rewards - Benefits to oversee benefits programs, retirement plans, and vendor relationships. You will drive cost-effective solutions and mentor a high-performing team, influencing engagement and retention across the organization.

You'll collaborate with senior HR and finance leaders to plan, budget, and forecast, ensuring compliance and competitive, employee-focused programs that support overall mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, finance, or related field.
• Progressive leadership experience in benefits, total rewards, or compensation and benefits.
• Deep expertise in retirement plans (401(k), 403(b), deferred compensation).
• Strong vendor management and contracting experience.
• Financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis.
• Knowledge of benefits regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations, administration, and enhancement of employee benefits programs.
• Oversee retirement plans and deferred compensation programs.
• Manage relationships with brokers, consultants, and recordkeepers.
• Negotiate contracts, evaluate vendor performance, ensure service excellence.
• Develop cost-management strategies while maintaining competitive benefits.
• Partner with Finance and HR leadership on planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with benefits and retirement plan regulations.
• Analyze program performance and market data to inform decisions.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to foster excellence.
• Drive employee benefits education and communication initiatives.
