Job summary

OpenText is seeking a strategic leader to oversee global benefits and retirement programs. You will partner with regional rewards leaders across 40+ countries, drive health, wellness, and retirement initiatives, and ensure programs are compliant, financially sustainable, and aligned with business strategy.

Reporting within Total Rewards, you will lead the Americas Benefits team, including U.S. health and welfare programs, and collaborate with executives on cost management and vendor governance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in benefits, total rewards, or related HR disciplines.
• 5+ years leading global benefits programs and teams in a multinational organization.
• Deep expertise in U.S. health and welfare plans, self-insured programs, and retirement plan governance.
• Experience with M&A due diligence, integration, and organizational transformation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute OpenText's global benefits and retirement strategy.
• Lead the Americas Benefits team, including oversight of U.S. health and welfare programs and retirement plans.
• Drive the evolution of health, wellness, retirement, leave, and financial well-being programs globally.
• Partner with senior leaders across HR, Finance, Legal, Risk, Procurement, and Payroll to balance employee value with financial stewardship.
• Provide governance and oversight for compliance, risk management, vendor partnerships, and program effectiveness.
• Lead benefits planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business case development.
• Support strategic initiatives including acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational transformation.
• Foster a high-performing team culture focused on innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
