Job summary

SEPTA is hiring a Total Rewards Coordinator to support the Chief Total Rewards Officer, handling administrative tasks, records, and payroll-related duties within the Human Resources Division.

You will coordinate new hire announcements, service awards, tuition reimbursement, and I-9/e-verify processing, while maintaining personnel files and HR systems data with accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus five years of administrative/secretarial experience.
• Working knowledge of HRIS/Payroll systems required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication and proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chief Total Rewards Officer with department administration and documentation.
• Coordinate monthly new hire announcements and quarterly service awards.
• Manage tuition reimbursement processes and Driver’s License data checks.
• Handle SAM personnel files and I-9/e-verify processing.
• Enter data into HR systems and prepare payroll adjustments.
• Respond to emails/phone inquiries and draft memos/reports.
• Monitor department budget and prepare related reports.
• Oversee weekly payroll, timesheets, and confidential records.
