Job summary

Welch Packaging seeks a Corporate Benefits Manager to design and administer comprehensive benefits, including health, retirement, and wellness programs. You will oversee open enrollment, liaise with vendors, and ensure ERISA/ACA compliance while guiding leaders on policy and cost-management decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of regulatory and legislative issues impacting Benefits and the ability to advise stakeholders.
• Experience guiding employees, managers, and directors on benefits programs and policy.
• Familiar with plan design, compliance testing, and regulatory requirements related to retirement plans.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer health, retirement, leave, and wellness programs.
• Manage open enrollment processes and communications with employees.
• Collaborate with vendors/brokers to ensure cost-effective offerings.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA and IRS rules.
• Prepare compliance reports including Form 5500 and 401(k) audits.
• Lead total rewards strategy alignment with business goals.
• Support organizational changes and integration of benefits in mergers/acquisitions.
