Job summary

GHJ is a national independent advisory, tax and accounting firm with offices across the U.S. The Total Rewards Specialist will support benefits administration, retirement programs and vendor relationships within the People department, reporting to the Manager, People Operations and Total Rewards.

They will liaise with Dayforce and Puzzle HR to manage enrollments, renewals and compliance, and will collaborate with the broker and internal stakeholders on open enrollment, leave administration and

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in benefits administration (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Experience working with benefits vendors and communicating with internal and external parties.
• Experience with HRIS (Dayforce experience preferred).
• Knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, PFL, and related laws.
• Experience developing and scaling processes in rapid-growth environments.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer core and ancillary benefit programs (health and welfare, charitable giving, EPA, employee perks).
• Maintain employee records regarding pay and benefits (enrollments, deductions, direct deposits).
• Partner with People Director for annual benefits renewal and Open Enrollment with vendors.
• Oversee Medicare eligibility administration and required employee notifications.
• Educate employees on benefit programs, changes, deadlines, and respond to questions.
