Job summary

Our client, a global hedge fund, seeks a Total Return Swaps Operations Analyst to support the post-trade lifecycle for TRS and related swap products. You will perform reconciliations, monitor the TRS lifecycle, and work with prime brokers to resolve discrepancies.

The role requires 2+ years in investment management or swap operations, hands-on TRS experience, and strong data accuracy. Collaboration with Trading, Technology, and Treasury is essential in daily trade processing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in investment management or swap operations in hedge funds.
• Hands-on TRS experience and post-trade processing knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily TRS trade, position, cash, and P&L reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve trade breaks and valuation differences.
• Process and validate TRS trades and downstream processing.
• Monitor TRS lifecycle including amendments, valuations, and settlements.
• Reconcile swaps with prime brokers and counterparties; resolve discrepancies.
• Support dividend payments, financing charges, and corporate actions.
• Collaborate with Trading, Prime Brokers, and Technology to ensure smooth processing.
• Maintain accurate trade, position, and reference data for reporting.
