Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Risk Management or related field preferred.
• CSRP, AIC, ARM certifications helpful but not required.
• 3–5 years of total loss or liability claims experience preferred.
• Experience negotiating with insurance carriers and commercial customers is highly valued.
• Knowledge of insurance claims principles and subrogation theory.

Responsibilities

• Review claims to establish facts, determine liability, identify recovery path.
• Prepare and issue formal recovery demands with thorough documentation.
• Negotiate settlements to maximize financial recovery while maintaining relationships.
• Maintain proactive stakeholder communication regarding claim status and resolutions.
• Process recoveries, ensure proper accounting and invoicing for customer obligations.
• Document thoroughly and manage follow-up diaries for all files.
