MercyOne Genesis is seeking a BC/BE Total Joint/Adult Reconstruction Orthopedic Surgeon to join our growing orthopedic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be foundational in a new practice and shape the direction of our joint replacement program from the ground up.

We seek a surgeon passionate about complex primary and revision arthroplasty, working in a collaborative, well-supported environment with strong infrastructure and APP support to build a thriving practice.

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Fellowship trained in Adult Reconstruction / Total Joint Arthroplasty preferred
• ABOS Board Certified or Board Eligible required
• Ability to obtain Iowa and Illinois medical licenses
• Strong clinical and surgical skill set with a passion for total joints and revision work
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Open to graduating fellows and experienced surgeons

Responsabilités

• Perform complex primary and revision total joint arthroplasty.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, hospitalists, primary care, and rehab teams.
• Develop and grow a high-volume adult reconstruction program.
