Freeman Mathis & Gary seeks an Associate Attorney with Tort experience to join our Las Vegas, Nevada office. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, handles client matters with confidentiality, and works well in a team-oriented environment.

FMG's Tort and Catastrophic Loss sections represent corporations and insurance carriers in liability, professional liability, and coverage issues. We serve as national and coordinating counsel for carriers and corporations in litigation.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in Nevada and in good standing.
• 3+ years of Tort litigation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial analysis and develop case strategy.
• Prepare and respond to discovery.
• Take and defend depositions, draft motions and attend hearings.
• Explain legal options to clients and discuss possible outcomes.
• Build relationships with clients.
• Negotiate, research, and communicate effectively.
