Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in the Birmingham area is seeking an experienced Torch Burner / Steel Cutter to join our construction partner team. You will cut and prepare structural steel and other metal materials using industrial cutting equipment.

Responsibilities include operating oxy-fuel torches, cutting structural steel, measuring and marking, and safely handling grinders and hand tools. This full-time role requires outdoor work, lifting heavy materials, and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience using a cutting torch
• Experience cutting structural steel or heavy metal
• Construction or industrial background preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Able to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work
• Strong attention to safety

• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work
• Strong attention to safety

Schedule: Full-time

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
