Job summary

Quality Labor Management (QLM) is seeking workers in Houston, TX to perform torch cutting on demolition sites. You will operate equipment, handle heavy lifting, and follow a site supervisor’s instructions to complete tasks with safety as priority.

The role requires torch cutting experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and reliable transport with potential travel. Background checks and drug screening are mandatory.

Pay Range

$25-28 per hr

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Able to work both independently and part of a team to torch cut steel in a high production setting on demolition sites within the Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Sectors.
• Safely and correctly use and maintain tools and equipment.
• Able to operate skid steers, man lifts, forklifts and other small equipment.
• Have working knowledge of various power and hand tools.
• Be able to lift at least 50 pounds, perform manual labor tasks, and follow the direction of a site supervisor to complete additional tasks as assigned.
• Scrap Burning/Torch Cutting experience is required
• Reliable transportation and regular travel are required.
• Must be able to pass a background test and drug screening.
• Must be clean-shaven and medically capable of wearing a half-faced respirator.
