Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Topobathymetric LiDAR Program Manager to lead and grow our LiDAR program across North America. The role blends program management, technical oversight, and business development while guiding teams through acquisition, processing, and product development.

The position offers remote/hybrid/office options within the U.S. and requires leadership and deep LiDAR expertise to drive high-quality geospatial solutions and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Geomatics, Geography, GIS, Engineering, Hydrography, or related field.
• 8+ years of LiDAR, remote sensing, geomatics, surveying experience.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing complex projects.
• Experience with topobathymetric LiDAR systems and data workflows.
• Proficient in LiDAR classification and product generation.
• Experience preparing proposals and supporting business development.
• Strong leadership, organization, and presentation skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Topobathymetric LiDAR program.
• Develop growth strategies to expand market presence and revenue.
• Identify new business opportunities in government, utilities, environmental, water resources, coastal, and infrastructure sectors.
• Collaborate to set long-term goals, strategies, and investments.
• Support hiring, mentoring, and workforce development for a high-performing team.
• Manage portfolios of LiDAR projects from planning through delivery.
