Job summary

Rollout Systems is seeking a highly motivated Windows/Linux Systems Administrator to join our onsite team supporting enterprise IT for a DoD-focused environment. You will deploy and maintain hardware and virtual infrastructure, ensure backups, security posture, and provide customer support with adherence to DoD requirements.

The role requires Top Secret clearance, a BS/BA in CS/Engineering/IT, and hands-on experience with government hosting facilities.

Qualifications

5 years of experience providing engineering solutions for government hosting facilities.
Experience maintaining and configuring physical and virtual hosts.
Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software on servers, workstations, and IT equipment.
Experience maintaining backups, disaster recovery, user accounts/permissions, deployments, and troubleshooting.
Experience maintaining documentation including knowledge base and incident response actions.
Experience providing technical support and guidance to customers.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering solutions for government software hosting facilities.
Deploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware, including VMs and containers.
Perform routine maintenance and configuration changes on hosts.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software on servers/workstations/IT equipment.
Maintain backups and disaster recovery plans.
Manage user accounts and permissions.
Deploy and maintain software applications.
Troubleshoot technical issues.
Maintain documentation including knowledge base and incident actions.
Provide technical support to customers with guidance and best practices.
Secure information systems to DoD guidance.
Maintain configuration and security posture via continuous monitoring and reporting.
Participate in Agile project planning.
Provide networking support to on-premises infrastructure.
Understand and familiarize with Linux operating system and virtual networking.
