Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen with a Top Secret clearance.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent, with a minimum of five (5) years or more of technical experience working in this position.
• Technical communication certification required.
• Practical experience working with engineers, scientists, computer support specialists, network engineers, or software developers.
• Demonstrated experience creating how-to-guides and operating instructions.
• Ability to determine end-user technical documentation needs.
• Experience selecting the appropriate medium for messaging, including documents and online videos.
• Position contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, computer support specialists, network engineers, and software developers to gather technical information.
• Develop clear, accurate how-to-guides and operating instructions for end users.
• Assess and determine documentation requirements based on end-user needs.
• Select and produce content in the most effective medium - written documentation, online videos, or other formats - to communicate technical information effectively.
• Ensure all technical documentation is accurate, consistent, and accessible to the intended audience.
