Job summary

Northrop Grumman Palmdale, CA has an opening for a Test & Evaluation Engineering Manager 2 (1st Shift). You will lead the System Integration Lab (SIL) infrastructure, architecture, and HW/SW integration test team, overseeing lab operations, staffing, planning, and status reporting.

This senior role requires a STEM degree and Top Secret clearance, with Agile experience, budgeting responsibilities, and frequent collaboration with Systems Engineering and Mission Assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 9+ years of experience, or Master’s with 7+ years, or PhD with 5+ years.
• Active USG Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP access via a PAR prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of IFC efforts in a dynamic lab environment.
• Lead a team of engineers and provide T&E process guidance during all phases of integration, procedure development, dry runs and formal execution.
• Work in a high energy environment with high expectations and diverse assignments across all levels.
• Lead test team in developing robust nominal and off-nominal software test procedures.
• Work in Agile Scrum teams during all phases of Test.
• Lead IFC execution and delegation of tasks and review of test deliverables.
• Attend daily and weekly IFC management and customer meetings, reporting status to stakeholders.
