Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Aeronautical Engineer - Test & Evaluation to lead test efforts in Rancho Bernardo, CA, with a Palmdale, CA alternate site. The role focuses on hardware/software integration, MBSE, and collaboration with engineers to translate requirements into lab configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level STEM degree plus 12 years of related experience, or a Master’s with 10 years, or a PhD with 8 years in systems.
• Active US Secret clearance with background investigation within 6 years or Continuous Evaluation.
• Ability to obtain SAP clearance and follow-on SAP PARs.
• Experience as Work Package Manager or CAM including IMS status and EVCRs.

Responsibilities

• Lead test engineering for multiple small scope efforts.
• Develop and manage System Test Plans and MBSE architecture products.
• Collaborate with software and systems engineers and leadership to allocate requirements.
• Synthesize program requirements into lab-specific configurations and test environments.
• Coordinate testing across test areas and communicate status; travel up to 25%.
