Job summary

Amentum seeks a Top-Secret cleared Systems Engineer to join a high-impact team focused on data innovation and analytical insights for national priorities. You will lead large-scale data analysis and help deliver on-premises and cloud-based applications, while supporting daily network operations, performance monitoring, and rapid issue resolution.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, strong Linux skills, scripting (Python), and expertise in enterprise IT environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with years of experience
• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required
• 8+ years in large-scale enterprise IT: cloud, data center, virtualization, and networks
• Strong Linux skills and security best practices

Responsibilities

• Supervise, design, and implement network hardware, servers, OS, and devices; test and deploy changes.
• Plan, design, and implement new network infrastructure and OS for voice/data networks; maintain standards.
• Ensure patches, accreditation tasks, SOPs, and provide tech investment guidance; develop client/server strategy.
