Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) in Manhattan Beach, CA, seeks an Integration and Test Engineer (or Principal) to lead software and system integration, define test objectives, and develop automated testing within CI/CD pipelines. On-site, active DoD Top Secret clearance required; travel may be needed.

Responsibilities include authoring test plans, executing tests, troubleshooting, and collaborating with SW teams to resolve issues and support fielded products.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship and Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 2+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 0–3 years
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 3 years of experience
• Experience defining test objectives from requirements

Responsibilities

• Author Software Test Plans, Procedures, and Test Reports
• Execute test artifacts for developmental, integration, qualification, and acceptance testing
• Develop automated test approaches for new software capabilities
• Compile test data, identify gaps, and recommend procedural changes
• Troubleshoot and support SW/HW integration in labs
• Collaborate with SW development teams to document and resolve SW issues
• Provide on-site support for fielded products
• Travel up to two weeks as needed
