Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Aurora, CO team working on a scalable intelligence ground station. You will contribute to both new development and ongoing operational support on agile teams, using modern practices and containerized micro-services with Docker and Kubernetes.

The role requires a science degree with 2+ years of software development or 5+ years with a Master, plus a Top Secret/SCI clearance; familiarity with Spring, Vue, Maven, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science; 2+ years software development for Level 2, or 5+ years for Level 3; Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• Experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting using object-oriented programming (Java).
• Experience with Container Management (Docker, Docker-Compose) and networking with containers; Git proficiency; Spring, Vue, Maven; Agile experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on an agile development team using modern practices tackling both new development and operational support.
• Contribute to micro-service, event-driven architecture using Docker containers and Kubernetes.
• Participate in design, development, and troubleshooting of software systems; collaborate across teams to deliver features.
