Northrop Grumman in Morrisville, NC is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Aurora Software team. You'll design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications on an Agile team, delivering robust, scalable solutions for critical programs.

The role requires a bachelor’s in science with 0-2 years of experience, familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git workflows, and SDLC best practices. Candidates may obtain a Top Secret clearance; relocation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Level 1: Bachelor's in science with 0+ years of software development, or 4 extra years in lieu of degree.
• Level 2: Bachelor's in science with 2+ years of software development; 0+ years with a Master’s; or 4 extra years in lieu of degree.
• Requires active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at application time.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of Java programming language.
• Familiarity with Git and workflows on GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
• Demonstrated success with Agile processes.
• Experience integrating with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle.
