Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Security Manager 2 to lead a team of security professionals supporting the Global C2 Solutions Business Unit in Huntsville, AL.

The role requires an active DoD TOP SECRET clearance, extensive security experience, and a proven ability to manage industrial security programs while guiding cross-functional teams to meet program milestones and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of security experience with a Bachelor's or 6+ years with a Master's; 15 years accepted in lieu of degree.
• Active DoD TOP SECRET Clearance and recent investigation date.
• Knowledge of NISPOM and program protection methodologies.
• Experience managing Industrial Security programs and OPSEC/L2 certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of security professionals in a high-intensity environment.
• Manage complex programs, ensuring compliance with government and company regulations.
• Oversee security activities and guide briefed personnel toward key goals.
• Develop and apply program security metrics to improve operations.
• Interface with leadership to meet on-time contract delivery requirements.
• Ensure security classifications are applied across contracts and programs.
• Deliver education and guidance on security throughout the organization.
