Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Security Assistant at Hanscom AFB, MA to support collateral and SCI programs. The role requires Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, a US citizenship, and a Bachelor’s degree. You will help manage secure facilities, handle classified materials, and coordinate security documentation.

Ideally, candidates have DoD experience (7+ years with 3 years in DoD) and familiarity with PHYSEC, INFOSEC, and OPSEC processes to ensure compliance with DoD/Air Force standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret Level Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7 years of directly related experience with 3 years in a DoD setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide security support for collateral programs and SCI programs.
• Support the management and operation of secure facilities and spaces.
• Assist with PHYSEC and INFOSEC activities, ensuring DoD and Air Force requirements are met.
• Prepare, process, receive, and maintain accountability of classified mail and records.
• Review VARs and access eligibility documentation.
