Job summary

McBride Consulting seeks a Security Assistant to support the C3C/KR division of the USAF. The role is full-time at Hanscom AFB, MA, requiring TS clearance and DoD experience. Responsibilities include safeguarding SCI programs, managing secure facilities, and processing security documentation.

Applicants must be a US citizen with a BA/BS and 7 years of relevant experience (3 in DoD). Travel 10% and onsite work are expected.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Top Secret clearance must be maintained.
• BA/BS degree required.
• 7 years in relevant discipline; 3 in DoD.

Responsibilities

• Provide security support for collateral and SCI programs.
• Manage secure facilities, spaces, and meetings.
• Assist with PHYSEC and INFOSEC activities and compliance.
• Process and maintain classified mail and records.
• Review Visitor Access Requests (VARs) and access docs.
• Review classification markings and distribution statements.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, DD Form 254s, OPSEC, and emergency plans.
• Verify clearances and access before granting access to classified information.
• Support security inspections, self-assessments, and action tracking.
• Support secure VTCs and classified meeting execution.
• Conduct entry/exit inspections and assist anti-terrorism measures.
• Deliver security training and briefings; maintain materials.
• Provide administrative security support as directed.
