Base-2 Solutions in Hanover, MD is seeking a senior software engineer to join our team. You will work on next-generation technologies for national defense, tackling analytics, large-scale systems, AI, NLP, and UI design challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have extensive software engineering experience, be comfortable leading or collaborating on complex projects, and hold active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly. U.S. citizenship is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 20 years of software engineering experience required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provides input to system design including hardware/software trade-offs and reuse.
