Job summary

2HB Incorporated in Maryland is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction. The role covers full-stack development, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of mission software for cyber-threat analysis.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Java and modern web apps, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams within a regulated environment; a TS/SCI/Full Scope

Qualifications

Twenty years of SWE experience in programs and contracts of similar scope is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack applications using Java and modern front-end frameworks is expected.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain capabilities across the application stack.
Work independently within an established codebase and collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders.
Translate operational needs into reliable software solutions for mission teams.
