Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to cutting-edge software for national defense and critical missions in Maryland. You will develop, test, and maintain scalable applications, participate in the full SDLC, and support secure development standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java, C++, C#, Python or JavaScript with strong coding skills.
• Experience with SDLC and secure coding practices.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization.
• Ability to work in a defense-related, security-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and maintains software based on requirements.
• Participates in the full SDLC from requirements to deployment.
• Writes clean, well-documented code and performs reviews.
• Conducts testing and troubleshooting to ensure quality.
• Collaborates with DevOps, system engineers, and stakeholders.
• Improves existing systems and recommends enhancements.
