Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a senior software engineer to join our team, developing next-generation technologies for national defense. You will work on analytics, large-scale systems, and AI-related areas across Windows, Unix, Linux, and macOS.

The role requires 20 years of software engineering experience, a BS in CS or related field, and the ability to operate in a collaborative environment with strong problem-solving skills. Active Top Secret/SCI with FSP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years experience as a software engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Utilizes software development methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provides input to system design including hardware/software trade-offs and reuse, and requirements analysis from system level to components.
