Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a top-notch software engineer to join our team in Hanover, MD. This on-site role supports the development of next-generation technologies for national defense, spanning data processing, AI, NLP, distributed systems, and UI design.

Responsibilities include designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining complex software across varied domains while collaborating with teammates to deliver robust solutions and meet strict security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 4 years of software engineering experience may substitute for a degree.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Uses software development methodologies appropriate to the environment.
• Provides input to system design including hardware/software trade-offs and requirements synthesis.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 4 years of software engineering experience may substitute
