Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to maintain the security posture of information systems.

The role collaborates with the ISSM and ISO to manage security operations, implement authorization documentation, and maintain accreditation, with responsibilities across SAPs, SCI, and DoD programs. This position includes a sign-on bonus up to $12,500 and requires TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree in a related area + 2 years’ experience OR equivalent experience (4 years)
• Experience: 2+ years of related experience; SAP experience preferred but not required
• IAT Level II or IAM Level II within 6 months of hire (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages
• Assist ISSM in meeting duties and responsibilities
• Identify cyber security vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures
• Perform ISSO duties for in-house and external customers
• Conduct security impact analyses for configuration management changes
• Attend required technical and security training related to assigned duties
