Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) III in Bedford, MA. The role focuses on maintaining the security posture of information systems, working closely with the ISSM and ISO to manage RMF packages and authorization documents.

Responsibilities include incident handling, encryption hygiene, and continuous monitoring across authorization boundaries. A TS/SCI clearance with CI poly is required, with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 offered for this

Qualifications

• 5+ years of RMF-related experience.
• 2+ years SAP experience required.
• Must hold TS/SCI clearance (CI poly preferred).
• Bachelor’s or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware and media.
• Notify ISSM about changes affecting authorization determination.
• Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with the authorization package.
• Coordinate hardware/software/firmware changes with ISSM and AO/DAO.
• Monitor recovery processes to ensure security features function properly.
• Ensure security documentation is current and accessible.
• Collect and document audit records and anomalies.
• Attend security training relevant to duties.
• Execute cyber security self-inspections and assessments.
