Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector seeks a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst - Level 5 to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA. This role centers on the Earned Value scheduling process and reporting metrics for space programs.

The candidate will develop artifacts, conduct SRAs, coordinate automated scheduling tools, and support kickoff packages. A DoD Top-Secret clearance is required to start and maintain access as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant professional experience OR Master’s degree with 10+ years.
• Additional 4+ years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
• Experience in a lead role.
• Proficient in developing and maintaining a program schedule in scheduling tools.
• Extensive EVMS experience.
• Strong PC skills and Microsoft Office proficiency, incl. Excel.
• Knowledge of schedule risk assessments (SRA) using Acumen Fuse or similar tools.
• Ability to work in a team with technical SMEs and business operations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate EVMS scheduling process, tools, and training for programs.
• Ensure internal/external best-practice program planning support.
• Develop high-quality artifacts, SRAs, and health metrics.
• Provide startup support and kickoff package development.
• Support team planning data, activity sequencing, and durations.
• Coordinate setup/use of automated scheduling tools for IMS files.
• Disseminate guidance on schedule analysis and reporting, including critical path and health metrics.
• Support major proposals and pipeline reviews.
• Collaborate with other functional leadership teams to ensure integration.
