Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst – Level 2 for our Redondo Beach, CA team. You will contribute to detailed schedule, resource, and cost analyses across multiple programs, coordinating with cross-functional teams and leadership.

The role emphasizes IMS coordination, development of schedule integrity, and adherence to EVMS and industry best practices. A Top Secret clearance is required, and the position supports exciting national security programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in program/project scheduling, or Master’s with 1+ year.
• Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/PowerPoint) and scheduling software.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed schedule, resource, work, and cost analysis for multiple programs and contracts.
• Make recommendations to solve problems and present to leadership.
• Interface with functional and supplier teams and the Program/Project Manager.
• Prepare, develop, and coordinate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Implement scheduling best practices (DCMA 14-point, IPMR DI-MGMT-81861, EVMS, CPA, SRA).
• Provide weekly status and reporting.
• Conduct Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR).
• Other duties as assigned.
