Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Program Director to lead a new line of critical capabilities for DoD and Intelligence Community customers. The role requires a systems-minded leadership approach, strong technical background, and a vision to re-envision the program’s future within Anduril’s mission to disrupt the defense tech ecosystem.

You will own execution across multiple programs, manage risks and budgets, and shape strategic roadmaps with senior leadership while building trusted customer

Qualifications

• Requires active U.S. Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years experience managing development of complex technical systems.
• Experience leading engineering programs in secure networking and communications.
• Proven track record of multi-million-dollar projects delivered on time and on budget.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience coordinating multiple internal and external teams in a tech-focused org.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own development and deployment of critical technologies to meet DoD/IC needs.
• Develop strong relationships with customers, enabling rapid iteration and fielding solutions.
• Autonomously execute on broad, ambiguous requirements across programs.
• Monitor progress across cost, schedule, and resources; make tradeoffs for best outcomes.
• Implement lightweight processes, tools, and metrics for planning and risk management.
• Be a trusted partner to engineers and drive ownership of work.
• Foster a high-performance culture; identify development or recruitment needs.
• Collaborate with finance and business development on pricing and plans.
• Help refine the strategic roadmap for R&D investments.
