Job summary

Credence is seeking a self-motivated Test and Evaluation Engineer II in Maryland to support DoD PNT products and platform integrations. You will develop test programs, perform data analysis with MATLAB and Python, and prepare reports and briefings for government stakeholders.

The role requires coordinating with government personnel and IPTs, executing both classified and unclassified tests, and delivering data-driven results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least three (3) years of experience testing Department of Defense systems or products.
• Master’s degree in engineering and at least one (1) year of experience testing Department of Defense systems or products.
• Experience using MATLAB and/or Python for scripting, data processing, visualization, or technical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and execute classified and unclassified test programs, plans, procedures, and related documentation.
• Conduct testing and evaluate results for PNT products, supported clients, and platform integrations.
• Use MATLAB, Python, and other data-analysis tools to perform detailed system-performance analysis.
• Collect, process, validate, and interpret test data to confirm equipment is operating correctly.
• Produce rapid, preliminary assessments during local and field test events.
• Identify test anomalies and prepare Test Incident Reports (TIRs).
• Provide data-driven analysis to inform incident disposition and closure.
• Contribute to design and improvement of data-analysis tools.
• Support various test levels: hardware, software, integration, qualification, and field tests.
• Attend classified meetings at Secret/Top Secret levels as required.
