Job summary

Credence is seeking a Systems Engineer II to support PNT products and CMFF program on DoD platforms in Aberdeen, MD. You will develop SE artifacts, manage requirements, assess performance, and coordinate with government and vendors throughout the system life cycle.

Qualifications

• Active DoD secret security clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Systems Engineering with at least three years of systems engineering experience supporting DoD systems; or Master’s degree with at least one year of systems engineering experience supporting DoD systems.
• Experience developing or maintaining systems engineering plans, requirements documentation, risk-management artifacts, or configuration-management documentation.
• Understanding of the systems engineering life cycle, including requirements, architecture, integration, verification, validation, and test and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain, and update systems engineering processes and documentation (SEPs, CM Plans, Risk Management Plans).
• Support the management of technical performance for the CMFF program, including requirements decomposition and system integration planning.
• Perform requirements analysis, development, derivation, documentation, allocation, and traceability.
• Support concept development, sensor/system design, architecture, modeling and simulation, and hardware/software/network integration.
• Plan and support host-platform integration, test/evaluation, and field demonstrations.
• Identify, document, assess, and manage technical/programmatic risks.
• Create, review, revise engineering and acquisition documentation for program milestones.
• Attend and support program reviews (SSRs, SRRs, SFRs, PDRs, CDRs, PRRs, FCAs, PCAs)
• Interface with external stakeholders contributing to system-of-systems approach
• Evaluate integration, interoperability, and DOTMLPF impacts for PNT products on Army platforms.
