OSAAVA Services seeks a Journeyman Computer User Support Specialist to support the 53rd Wing at Eglin AFB, Florida. The role provides hands-on Tier I–II IT support to military, civilian, and contractor personnel in a secure DoD environment, troubleshooting hardware, software, accounts, and peripherals on-site.

Qualificações

• Active Top Secret clearance at time of application.
• Experience providing desktop, help desk, service desk, or computer user support.
• Working knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, peripherals, and connectivity.
• Experience supporting user accounts, permissions, or AD functions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.
• Ability to diagnose issues and clearly communicate solutions.
• Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to document incidents and resolutions.
• Ability to operate in a security-conscious environment.
• Ability to work full-time on-site at Eglin AFB, Florida.
• Must meet DoD cybersecurity workforce requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Tier I and II technical support for end-user computers, applications, peripherals, and IT equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, connectivity, and user-access issues.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows-based desktops and laptops.
• Support Windows OS and Office/Microsoft 365 applications.
• Assist with account access, password resets, permissions, and AD issues.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers, monitors, docking stations, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Respond to IT service requests and document steps and resolutions.
• Escalate complex network, cybersecurity, server, or application issues.
• Support workstation deployments, upgrades, and lifecycle activities.
• Assist with software installation, patching, and approved app support.
• Maintain records of IT assets and service activities.
• Follow DoD cybersecurity policies when supporting classified/unclassified systems.
• Coordinate with network admins, sysadmins, and cybersecurity teams.
• Provide professional, responsive technical assistance to personnel.
• Perform other IT support activities to maintain mission readiness.
