Job summary

Aquila Technology is seeking an ISSO Specialist to support a premier defense research organization. The role focuses on design, development, implementation, and testing of software for large-scale demonstrations and aligns IT security priorities with the overall security strategy.

Required: Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, US citizenship, BS preferred, and 8570 II certification. 100% onsite near Lexington, MA with occasional risk-based travel may apply.

Qualifications

• 4 years of system auditing experience.
• 4 years of regulatory and compliance experience.
• 4 years of government policy/regulations experience.
• 4 years of STIGs/SCAP and RMF experience.
• 4 years of assessment/authorization and security control implementation.

Responsibilities

• Assist compliance activities and ensure secure configurations.
• Monitor policy adherence and regulatory procedures.
• Track vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation actions.
• Lead IT security priorities with the security strategy.
• Contribute to SSP/POA&M, risk assessments, and continuous monitoring.
