Job summary

Cambridge International Systems, Inc. seeks an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support NIWC Atlantic in North Charleston, SC. This full-time CONUS position requires an active Top Secret clearance and ABET-accredited education.

The base salary range is $103,000 to $121,000 annually, with final offers based on experience, skills, equity, and market data. Travel may be required as per program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science, ABET-accredited.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity policies, including A&A activities.
• Technical expertise engineering NIST RMF controls and producing RMF artifacts.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• DoD 8570/8140 Level I certification in IAM, IAT, or IASAE.

Responsibilities

• Integrate cybersecurity into system architectures across the lifecycle and ensure RMF compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers, ISSM/ISSO personnel, and government stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient solutions.
• Develop and maintain SSPs, control implementation statements, security diagrams, and analyses.
• Support RMF activities including SAPs, SARs, POA&Ms, and continuous monitoring documentation.
