Cambridge International Systems, Inc. is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) in North Charleston, SC. The role requires integrating cybersecurity into lifecycles and architectures, with a Top Secret clearance for NIWC Atlantic support.

You will work with engineers, ISSM/ISSO, and government stakeholders to implement RMF controls, assess vulnerabilities, and prepare RMF artifacts, SSPs, and related documentation at a government contract level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a Computer Science concentration, from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum 3 years developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies and A&A activities.
• DoD 8570/8140 Level I certification in IAM, IAT, or IASAE.
• Current active Top Secret clearance.

Responsabilités

• Integrate cybersecurity requirements into system architectures and technical documentation.
• Engineer and validate security controls per RMF, NIST, and DoD guidance.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and mitigation planning.
• Develop SSPs, control statements, and security diagrams; support RMF artifacts and continuous monitoring.
