Northrop Grumman is seeking engineers for development, integration, deployment and sustainment of satellite ground software on our Dulles, VA campus. A Top Secret clearance is required at the time of application, with TS/SCI ability, and roles span Python, C++, Postgres, Ansible, and cloud provisioning.

Positions are available at Software Development Engineer Level 2 or 3, with dual salary bands and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree (ideally Computer Science or Engineering) with 2 years of experience; or Master's with 0 years (experience can substitute).
• Demonstrated software development experience.
• Python and C++ development experience; Bash scripting.

Responsabilidades

• Full stack development across OS, platform, and mission software layers.
• Develop client/server applications using service or OO architectures.
• Work with Postgres, Ansible, cloud provisioning, PKI, and static analysis tools.
• Capable of self-direction with project budget and schedule awareness.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware affecting ground software operations.
• Support test events and run Acceptance tests.
• Configure ground segment software in various environments.
• Remediate software defects and implement enhancements per change requests.
• Support ground software during launches and rehearsals.
• Install new ground segment software in operational, development and test environments.
