Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking mid-level and senior Software Development Engineers to join an on-site team at our Dulles, VA campus. The role focuses on development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of satellite ground software.

Candidates must have a STEM degree and strong Python/C++ experience, with a current Top Secret clearance. Eligible for relocation assistance and potential bonuses based on performance and market conditions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (ideally Computer Science or Engineering) with required experience or higher.
Demonstrated software development experience with Python/C++/Bash.
U.S. Citizenship and a current Top-Secret clearance required at time of application.

Responsibilities

Full stack development across OS, platform, and mission software layers.
Develop client/server apps using service- or object-oriented architectures and data exchange.
Work with Python, C++, Postgres, Ansible and cloud provisioning tools.
Troubleshoot software and hardware affecting ground software operations.
Support test events, test automation and ground software configuration.
Remediate software defects and implement customer-driven enhancements.
Assist during launch and deployment of ground segment software.
