Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Development Engineer to develop, integrate, deploy, and sustain satellite ground software at our Dulles, VA campus. You will work across OS, platform, and mission software layers, delivering client/server solutions using Python, C++, and Bash scripting.

Ideal candidates hold a CS/engineering degree with relevant experience, US citizenship, and active TS/SCI clearance. On-site work, potential relocation, and opportunities to contribute to national security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or Engineering with 2+ years experience; or master with 0 years.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and Bash scripting.
• U.S. citizenship and active Top-Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, deploy, and sustain satellite ground software.
• Work on OS/platform/mission software layers.
• Develop client/server applications using OO architectures; data exchange and services.
• Support ground software configurations and troubleshoot software/hardware issues.
• Assist with test events, test automation, and ground segment software installation.
