Job summary
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a DevOps Engineer/ Principal DevOps Engineer at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson AFB. The role focuses on building, maintaining, and scaling foundational infrastructure using Kubernetes, Cloud, GitLab, and related platform technologies.
The candidate must hold an active DoD Top Secret/SSBI clearance, have strong communication skills, and experience with containers, CI/CD, and IaC in an Agile environment.
Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
- Experience in DevOps, software development, or systems administration.
- Experience with IaC tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with OCI-compliant container tech (Podman/Docker).
- Experience managing containerized workloads (Kubernetes or Docker Swarm).
- Experience with Linux OS and core cloud services.
- Experience with Git and distributed version control.
Responsibilities
- As a DevOps engineer, you will combine software development and IT operations to create a more streamlined and efficient development process by implementing and managing the DevOps approach within the organization.
