Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Top Secret-cleared Deputy Program Manager to support the TMPC programs in California, MD. The role partners with the Program Manager to direct day-to-day operations and ensure staffing, performance, and alignment with customer priorities.

Responsibilities include managing staffing plans, leading metrics collection and monthly reporting, guiding technical teams, and supporting ad-hoc projects and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of program management experience, including 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a technical systems engineering environment.
• 2+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Active and current Top Secret with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse workforce at multiple locations.
• Strong track record of organizational leadership and business management, including strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to gain internal support and consensus; operate independently with solid judgment.
• Well-developed reasoning and problem-solving skills, including ability to manage risk.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with customers and staff; motivate employees.

Responsibilities

• Direct subordinate managers and teams; maintain a professional, performance-oriented organization.
• Organize/lead metrics gathering program wide and define a monthly metrics collection and reporting plan.
• Lead and provide technical leadership for program efforts per customer priorities.
• Support ad-hoc projects and proposal efforts as necessary.
• Manage staffing plan and staffing fluctuations to meet program needs.
