Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Deputy Program Manager (Top Secret) to support the TMPC programs in California, MD. You will work with the Program Manager to direct day-to-day operations, focusing on staffing, metrics, and execution across multiple locations.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage risk within a dynamic defense program. You will coordinate staffing plans, support monthly reporting, and provide technical leadership while engaging with customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required with 7+ years of program management experience.
  • 5+ years supervisory/leadership experience in a technical systems engineering environment.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI.
  • Strong analytics, presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and tactically execute day-to-day operations of the TMPC program alongside the Program Manager.
  • Develop and manage staffing plan weekly and monthly; adapt to customer direction and staffing changes.
  • Support monthly reporting processes (Fusion updates for MR and IPR).
  • Provide technical leadership for program efforts per customer priorities.
  • Lead subordinate managers; build a high-performance, ethical organization; drive staff development.
  • Organize and implement a monthly metrics collection and reporting plan.
