Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Engineer to maintain, implement and enhance capabilities in support the National Space Intelligence Center Cloud Infrastructure at Wright Patterson AFB.

You will be an active part of a team working directly with senior leadership providing technical support. Successful candidates should have strong communication, cloud, IaC, and containerization expertise, with DoD 8570 IAT Level II readiness and 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s with 3+ years.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google).
• IaC, containerization, microservices experience; scripting in Bash/PowerShell.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Atlassian tools.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior leadership to provide technical support and direction.
• Maintain, implement and enhance cloud-based capabilities and infrastructure.
• Communicate project statuses and blockers; collaborate with stakeholders.
• Follow Agile life cycle development and multi-task across projects.
